I just wanted to pass on our thanks to you and your team for running such a great event for us last night! We have had some lovely feedback and everyone was impressed with the variety of beers on offer - there really was something to suit all tastes.
We wanted something different and engaging for our Business Club members pre match, The House of Boda came up trumps with a great selection of Scottish craft beers and fine cheeses. Highly recommended.
Everything was perfect and we are so grateful to you! The great news is that we raised a lot of money, everyone had a good time, they loved the place, the beer and the masterclass.
The House of Boda is a pleasure to work with, whether it be a small or large event, they are passionate as well as professional.
I learnt more about beer in one night than I have drinking it for thirty years
We really enjoyed the tasting on Tuesday - the Pilsner was particularly great - and your team were really knowledgeable as always. Hope to see you at another event soon.
Mark and I both really enjoyed the sommelier experience. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to indulge our beer nerd side with someone really knowledgeable and without the fear of being labelled as a beer bore!
WHAT IS THE HOUSE OF BODA?
‘Boda’ is the old English word for messenger. Our message and mission is simple;
encourage the world to drink great beer and ensure beer takes its rightful place at the dinner table.

Charlie and I met though our mutual obsession with beer. Charlie is passionate about beer in the same way as I am and our friendship grew based on beer, which I think is a great foundation. Charlie has got a wonderful way of imparting beer knowledge and I really enjoy hosting events with him- we try to make them as lighthearted as well as educational.
Charlie is one of only 160 accredited Beer Sommeliers in the world and is a beer judge for the Champion Beer of Britain.

Phil had his first sip of Guinness at 8 years old but reluctantly had to wait another ten years to take up his first appointment in the beer industry. Since then he has steadily built his reputation as a leading expert in the beer industry and was one of the first beer sommeliers in London to evangelise about beer and food pairing after serving his time running the White Horse in Parsons Green. Phil’s beer knowledge is second to none and he makes a fantastic drinking partner.
